Crystal Sparkles at Fer Interazar
JPM International treated visitors at Interazar Madrid to an entirely new concept for the Spanish market. Max Power, produced under JPM's Crystal brand featured on distributor Grupo Comatel's prominent stand, along with two additional new Type B games launched especially for the Spanish market.
Targeted at the arcade market, Max Power is a multi-terminal game which delivers powerful player appeal and is particularly attractive to operators as its three terminals attract less tax than three individual machines. The large eye-catching Mega Premios display above the machines ensures a huge presence.
Mega Lineas, a six reel multi-stake and award card game, is the first Max Power title for Spain and was a major attraction on the Comatel stand. Available as a slant top with eye-catching plasma display, or in Crystal's popular Linear upright cabinet with high impact top display, Mega Lineas varied features have captured players' attention.
The base game is played on five win lines, with the top game featuring 27 lines. When the player achieves a reel win, a Super Turbo Gamble Ladder offers the opportunity to climb the ladder and multiply their win by the value shown. The ladder has a maximum multiplication of X 100 and the game stops when either the value won is equal to or exceeds the jackpot, or the player gambles to a lose.
For the player, a highly attractive feature of Max Power is the Bonos feature. Prizes are awarded as Bonos which may then be converted to cash payouts via a special game. This gives the player the ability to win larger amounts of money through the hopper.
Crystal decided to bring JPM's Max Power to Spain after its outstanding success in the Czech Republic, where it is now the market leader. The company has confirmed that several new Max Power game titles for Spain will follow shortly.
Critics generally agreed that this was JPM's strongest presence at the show for many years and showed outstanding commitment to the market, so cause for celebration or simply a step in the right direction?
"This is such a great concept I think it's going to be extremely popular with players", predicted one well known operator.
Whilst Max Power was undoubtedly the star attraction, Crystal's newest category B games were also met with enthusiasm.
Ladrón de Cajas Fuertes is an exciting dual screen with a safecracker theme, designed specifically for the Spanish market. The three reel base game, abounds with nudges, holds and gamble features and also boasts an intriguing hidden fourth reel behind a door which swings open for highest game stake players. There are 21 possible outcomes from a spin of the 4th reel, including extra win lines, jackpots, bonus games, and entry to the top game safe . The top game has three reels and five win lines, as well as a number of amusing mini-games. Display three of the dedicated safe symbols and you open the safe, achieving a scatter on the rewards contained inside.
JPM's Royal Roulette is a new dual screen game concept which brings the excitement of the casino to Category B. The base three reel fruit game is played on a single line and is rich with hold, gamble and nudge features, as well as spot prizes. Gamble and lost wins of certain values are exchanged for chips and a Super Fichas game enables the player to accumulate additional chips.
Chips are played on the top screen Roulette game which offers a number of traditional betting configurations. During the wheel's spin, a side game offers players the opportunity to win extra chips. On leaving the Roulette game, the player may stake chips on the three reel Golden Age game.
Both Ladrón de Cajas Fuertes and Royal Roulette are configurable to meet the requirements of specific Autonomous Communities.
